Old woman selling accessories at night time

I was caught surprised this old woman still selling accessories even at night time that was around 9:00 o’clock in the evening at my estimate she’s more or less 70 year old. I was with my sister then when we stopping by in her little store. I know she’s a Muslim so I called her "Babo" or auntie in Christian term. In my curiosity I can’t hold back not to ask her why she still out side selling in the middle of a night time. She told me, she needs to work so that she can bring food in the table for her children. I found out she was bread winner in the family.
While I was talking to her my mind was running asking so many questions. I felt bad at her and her situation considering at her age. She should be at home resting. She was with her little grandchildren then. We teased her to have a discount she was hesitant then to give us eventually she agree but we pay her without discount.
During the time that we keep talking, I talked to her with Muslim intonation. I ask her where she from in Mindanao she then answered, Marawi City. Since my little sister was graduated from Mindanao State University (MSU), Marawi City, I told her right away Oh! My sister was studying there and then there was another guy asked my sister what year, then my sister answered.
I felt the conversation was good and there was sort of rapport. I told the old woman Babo give me some pose, she answered back, No! I don’t …that’s bad luck then she walked away few steps from me. So I told her if that’s bad luck then why there is McDonald, Chowking, Kenny Roger’s restaurant that’s profiting their business? Then the other guy responded “Yes..Yes..Yes it’s not bad luck you have to pose, then the old woman took few steps forward nearer to me and then she pose with a smile, then eventually she said Oh! I forgot to wear my eyeliner.
She didn’t allow me to take her picture at night time because of her belief that it is not good in the business. So I have to let her understand that it is only a superstitious belief.
Although before we left she told us to come back and buy her again. I had fun talking her because I feel the sincerity and she let me feel that she’s tired and wants to retire from selling and let her children take care of her.
