Refreshing Halo-Halo on Summer

Forget & Forgive

Pride is sometimes difficult to handle. Were all human we are vulnerable to committing an error, committing mistake but this doesn’t mean that we don’t deserve forgiveness. When you are so much in pain it is really hard to forgive you might forgive but you never forget. But if you are not yet ready for forgiveness never pretend that you are okay let the time tell and let the time heals. I guess this is the best way of doing so. Life is easy to live when there is no pain, heartaches, disappointments, or negative feelings in your heart. When you have good relationships with the people around you, you always smile.

Desiring to have whiter skin

I have a fair complexion but because of my undying desire of having whiter skin, I used different whitening soap, whitening lotion. I even took vitamin E for skin like Myra 400E. They say in just 2 weeks your skin is whiter. For years of using my skin still the same, brown complexion. I will never have white skin although my skin firmed in which it looks good. Basically, it is not me that has an undying desire to have whiter skin but all Filipino’s. I told my sister that my skin is whiter she just smiled a smile that has meaning, sigh. She’s not convinced I have whiter skin. It’s ironic some staying longer under the sun for sunbathing. For now, I still dreaming some changes happen in my skin- hope one day. Smile.

Whats the difference when you are famous person?

When you are famous people are looking up to you. You will be blessed in many ways money, fame, a nice house, your life very comfortable while ordinary people their life struggles. Their problems are their day-to-day living food, shelter, education.
Millions of people desiring fame in many categories depending on their field of expertise or talents. When you are in the pick of your career the more you become careful considering that all eyes are on you, your moves are calculated, you have so many things to consider fans, endorsement, so on and so forth. You don’t have anymore privacy. You are no longer an ordinary person that can walk around, move around, playing around with nobody who cares. Many obsess fans are sneaking plus media people undying taking pictures. They contribute to your popularity at the same time they are trouble makers of your life. So dismay looking at them (famous personality) the way media or paparazzi treated them. I don’t see paparazzi they never stop clicking their camera. Yes, it’s their job but they should give some distance for privacy. Now I do believe your popularity is the one that caused your life will be in danger. Look what happened to Lady Diana, she was famously known all over the world, wherever she goes she was dear and good scope for reports but she died untimely. I don’t think Lady Diana likes her life anymore after she crowned to be Princess of Wales. People sometimes forget famous people are not immortal they are still people whose lives are not perfect. It’s good to have an ideal person because they are your inspiration to follow their footsteps to success but let’s give our share to treat them equally. Privacy is their needs as our response why not give it to them.

Presidential Campaign NoyNoy Aquino@Baclaran

Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino only son of both late Senetor Benigno Aguino, Jr. & President Corazon Aquino. Both his parents are fighting for our democracy during martial law under Marcos Administration. His father was put in jailed when he was young together with other siblings. His late father killed for assassination in August 21, 1983. All Filipino people mourned, crying marching shouting to condemn late Ferdinand Marcos. When his mother runs for president during snap election and won, she was the first woman president in Asia & people called her "Woman of Democracy, before she stepped in to MalacaƱan Palace, people power revolution happened that ousted late President Marcos forced to flown to Hawaii. Critics and few people never believe her capacity to lead the nation. During her term she has many coup attempts. Despite all of those, she runs the nation peacefully and progressively. She left the Palace bringing the accomplishment she was contributed for the progress of the nation.
Today, her son is running for president. Her son that will continue to finish the work she was started. Noynoy is a reflection of good governance, good leader, and progress oriented. He didn’t run for himself or for his personal interest nor interest of this family but for the interest of the Filipino people that want changed.

Old woman selling accessories at night time

I was caught surprised this old woman still selling accessories even at night time that was around 9:00 o’clock in the evening at my estimate she’s more or less 70 year old. I was with my sister then when we stopping by in her little store. I know she’s a Muslim so I called her "Babo" or auntie in Christian term. In my curiosity I can’t hold back not to ask her why she still out side selling in the middle of a night time. She told me, she needs to work so that she can bring food in the table for her children. I found out she was bread winner in the family.
While I was talking to her my mind was running asking so many questions. I felt bad at her and her situation considering at her age. She should be at home resting. She was with her little grandchildren then. We teased her to have a discount she was hesitant then to give us eventually she agree but we pay her without discount.
During the time that we keep talking, I talked to her with Muslim intonation. I ask her where she from in Mindanao she then answered, Marawi City. Since my little sister was graduated from Mindanao State University (MSU), Marawi City, I told her right away Oh! My sister was studying there and then there was another guy asked my sister what year, then my sister answered.
I felt the conversation was good and there was sort of rapport. I told the old woman Babo give me some pose, she answered back, No! I don’t …that’s bad luck then she walked away few steps from me. So I told her if that’s bad luck then why there is McDonald, Chowking, Kenny Roger’s restaurant that’s profiting their business? Then the other guy responded “Yes..Yes..Yes it’s not bad luck you have to pose, then the old woman took few steps forward nearer to me and then she pose with a smile, then eventually she said Oh! I forgot to wear my eyeliner.
She didn’t allow me to take her picture at night time because of her belief that it is not good in the business. So I have to let her understand that it is only a superstitious belief.
Although before we left she told us to come back and buy her again. I had fun talking her because I feel the sincerity and she let me feel that she’s tired and wants to retire from selling and let her children take care of her.

Pilgrimage 2010

The Love of God is bigger than the universe more than big of what were expecting. Love of God is unconditional doesn’t matter how sinful we are he is willing to forgive and always given a chance to repent. This holy week is a celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The 14th station is one of the sacrifices that’s for me is agony. Agony because I been walking and walking to the top of the hill & every station the distance is long more than kilometer I think. I am not boasting but I am trying to get reflected about God being stoned, neglected, denied, kneeled, and crucified without committing any sins but saving sins of the people and this is all because of LOVE. Every step I made during my walks of six(6) long hours in the middle of the night without trying to get rest I ask myself how big our sins or my sins that God has to go through this kind of sacrifices. He offered himself to save me. Am I worthy enough to be forgiven? Or Are we worth enough to be forgiven? The pain of my body, the dirt of my feet, the sleepless night, the long walk I don’t think are worthy enough to pay back for all the love and goodness he’s given me. This year I must say has many participants compare to last year although the organizer lack to give security measure underestimating the large volume of participants before the 1st station started people get stuck, people banging, shouting and pushing each other just to get out of the way yet fire truck & few vehicles was blocking the road. There was one lady who cried she cried because she can hardly breathe, and I myself was pushing away enough that my arm gets hurt when I lean on the hard bar. I was more worried when my sister and her husband were lost each other my mind was with them considering the large volume of people what will happen to them when they were in the middle of the stuck people. My other friend didn’t finish when he saw a volume of people like ants crawling so he went home. When I saw that too my mind was not sure yet if I have to go on or go home but I was thinking I am here already I have to finish this little sacrifice. After I passed the volume of believers I started the 1st station until the 14th station then when I am in the church I still have to fall in line to throw coins and wipe the Blessed Virgin Mary. Before I went home I bought religious stuff souvenir for my ALAY LAKAD 2010 Reflection: the Alay Lakad symbolizes the importance of sacrifice. It is not a sacrifice where we are asking for rewards or making wishes for our own interest. But the pilgrims are also a time for meditating, talking to God for a longer time. Upon walking were concentrating, were giving a chance to thank God for every blessing he has given us. Although Holy week is just a celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus because we already SAVED but it is our REMINDERS what God DID for us.
